In my photography, I always strive to capture the atmosphere and emotions I experience in the moment. As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. I couldn’t agree more and that’s one of the main reasons why travel and photography form such a perfect pair. I love both deeply, and right now, they are the very center of my life.
So why did I decide to start writing this blog?
Reason 1:
I started photography ten years ago, and over time I’ve accumulated an incredible number of photos that have never seen the light of day and that’s something I regret. One of my main goals with this blog is to give those images a second life by incorporating them into articles and connecting them with stories.
Reason 2:
I’ve always wanted to keep a travel journal, a sort of backup of the emotions and experiences I go through while traveling. Something I could return to years later, not just to relive the photos, but also to revisit the thoughts that were running through my head at the time. It would give me a kind of personal feedback to see how I’ve grown (or maybe stagnated) as a person.
Reason 3:
During my travels, I’ve experienced countless intense moments, both good and a few not so good ones, and met many amazing as well as not-so-amazing people. More and more often, I receive messages on social media with questions about photography gear, post-production, traveling, or sometimes people just need a bit of confidence to make a big decision and start pursuing what they truly love in life.
Reason 4:
Thanks to photography, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many interesting clients and collaborate with brands and agencies whose products I use and whose philosophy I identify with. From time to time, you’ll also find product reviews here or behind-the-scenes insights into my photography work.
I believe this blog will not only be a place where I can share my photos and experiences, but also a source of inspiration and motivation for others who want to pursue what they love.
